They won the 0-6000 Mini-Spingold KO Teams: Dorn Bishop, Neil Stern, captain James Weeks and J.J. Johnsen.

The all-California team led by James Weeks won the 0-6000 Mini-Spingold KO Teams, defeating Brad Vander Zanden’s team 157-49 in three quarters of play.
Weeks of Palm Desert CA played with Neil Stern of Indio CA, and J.J. Johnsen and Dorn Bishop of San Diego.
Vander Zanden played with David Shepler (both of Knoxville TN), Marsha Platnick of Bluefield WV and Keith Hungate of Marion VA.

Weeks 55-24 after the first quarter and then 88-39 after the second. The Weeks team continued to pile on the IMPs in the third set, increasing their margin to more than 100 IMPs, prompting Vander Zanden’s surrender.
