NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION FOR REGION 6 DIRECTOR
A Special Election will be held electronically to fill the vacant Regional Director position for Region 6 (District 7). The term begins July 11, 2022 and ends on December 31, 2024. Candidates must be an ACBL member in good standing, a member of a Unit in Region 6, at least 18 years of age and must have an email address.
The Director of Elections (elections@acbl.org) will begin accepting declarations of candidacy by email on April 1, 2022. The email must include your ACBL member number and the Unit to which you belong and be received no later than 5:00 PM CT on April 30, 2022.
If there is no opposition, the candidate will be deemed elected on May 2, 2022. Candidates with opposition who wish to include a biographical summary must email it to the Director of Elections by May 9, 2022. Electronic voting begins June 1 and ends June 15, 2022.
